According to legend, it's name came about because a goat herder noticed that his flock became sexually stimulated after eating the plant. Horny goat weed is most commonly taken as an aphrodisiac, it is claimed to boost sex drive and improve the quality of erection among other effects. Some animal studies have shown it may have an effect similar to Viagra (sildenafil). Horny Goat Weed has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to support normal circulation in the extremities, and tonify kidney yang energy, which is a driving force for libido. 
 
Suggested use: Brew as a tea by adding 1 Tbsp. in 1 cup of boiling water. Sweeten if desired. Enjoy! *Increase dosage if needed.
